Title ‘Rustic’

A montage of the great arrangements my class made this year. Congratulations to all my students on their great progress made this year.

Delighted to announce I won a first and  2nd place at recent Naul Flower Club’s Horticultural and Flower Show .

One category was petite, title ‘Beauty Within ‘. A petite exhibit is only 25cms wide and high so it’s a bit of a challenge to produce an exhibit which contains all the elements and principles of design .  I decided to do a traditional triangle . As you can see material used is quite small. I have done smaller as there is also a category called minature . Now that is really difficult.

The Leaving Cert is over and congratulations to you all. Now it is time to prepare for your Debs.

I design coursages that are different from the traditional orchid.  I use smaller more robust flowers that won’t get damaged as you dance the night away . Prices start from 20 Euro.

The ‘Daisy ‘ coursage was designed for a bride but is equally suitable for a Debs, it is fresh simple and elegant.

Rosebuds and Alstromeria which hug your wrist  . Both available in the right colour to complement your dress.

Each coursage is individually designed to match your dress and personality.  If you want something quite alternative then ‘Floral to a T’ has the answer.

Had great fun making the hat.  Would be a lovely idea for a bride , bit different from the norm .

The flowers I used are called Gloriosa Lilies .Common name ‘Fire Lily’ The colour is very intense and beautiful

They are native to southern Africa and Asia. Interestingly they are considered invasive and dangerous weeds in Australia ! Dangerous because they are poisonous and cause the death of animals and birds when eaten . Always say , a weed is a flower in the wrong place

Be assured my flowers come from Holland  and no animals in danger!
